L2 Time
My life is filled with symptoms. Either of an MS symptom or a symptom caused by the first symptom.
Every day can bring confusion over what each will be.
I spoke a few posts back about a compression fracture in my spine in the L2 region. Not sure what caused this event. My specialist at the Spine and Pain clinic believes that pre-osteoporosis or age has affected my spine in several places with the worst being the L2 which is completely gone.
What the heck? Did I really need another issue aside from all of the MS ones?
The best solution to the pain caused by the fracture is to cauterize the nerves surrounding the area where the bone is gone. Insurance will not cover this procedure without two practice tests, which involves inserting numbing meds into the affected area.
Not an extremely painful process but definitely uncomfortable, as with anything that involves the back.
So, like the warrior that I am, I will face this new challenge as best as I can.
