We all experience uncertainty about what tomorrow might bring. From simple things like “will it be sunny or rainy, cold or warm, what’s for dinner, did I pay that gas bill?” As I’ve gotten older those uncertainties have changed to more meaningful things like “which friends or acquaintances will face a scary diagnosis, will my grandchildren thrive in this crazy environment, oh, and don’t forget, what’s for dinner?”

When faced with a frightening test result, the worries and doubts become even more intense. “How will this affect me and my family, will I become dependent on others to just function everyday, what will my future look like?”

All of the uncertainties in life can dominate our thoughts and block the good times waiting to be had.

I rely on my faith and trust that regardless of what tomorrow brings I will be ready for it.
