There is a phenomenon that I live with every day.

To be strong and weak at the same time.

For a year I have done two pound weight repetitions everyday to keep my arms strong so that I can assist my caregiver with transfers. I can see the muscle definition when flexing my arms.

When experiencing fatigue, it is as if my arms are two giant noodles, along with the rest of my body which will melt at the same time.

My morning routine can be impossible if I shower too early or too late. If I attempt to do anything right after dinner the fatigue will knock me flat.  A doctor once explained to me that my body uses all the energy it stores to digest food, resulting in the weakness I experience after a meal.

So, I live in a vicious circle of trying to stay strong while pushing through fatigue at the same time.
