16 hours in an airport compared to 24 hours in a car.

This is the dilemma.

After a recent trip to Dallas, Texas I am reevaluating my choices.

When flying we are at the mercy of the airline traveled on. Delays, unexpected fees, the cost of a 45 minute Uber ride and unorganized operations can make a huge impact on my sanity and stress levels.

Whereas, sitting in a car for twelve hours and navigating available handicap rest stops can be just as difficult.

I believe I was swayed with a reasonable ticket fee, not realizing the additional charges that would add up later, plus I had always enjoyed flying in the past.

I have to admit that despite all the issues we had, our trip to my niece’s graduation was worth the headaches.

Although, next time…I think we will drive.
