Now that my husband is retired, my honey do list is finally seeing the light of day and magically growing.

After a new roof and new windows due to hail a year ago. We also had shutters installed, so now it seems like a good time to paint the inside of our home. 

In the past (before the MS monster), I would be the one to do the painting and the little chores around the house. I loved the instant gratification of wallpapering and painting and I had the energy and stamina to accomplish it. I was a super mom powerhouse that could change the look of a room in a day.

Now that I have neither one of these it has been difficult to accept that someone else is responsible for all the physical work that needs to be done around the house.

It is also a challenge for me to keep my mouth shut and not direct the results of whatever has been improved upon. 

When life decides to change without our permission we fight back until we reach acceptance.
