Brain Fog
There are days when my brain feels relatively clear, and then there are days….
Mornings are the worst as I need time to chase the fog of sleep, hunger and confusion out with a shower, breakfast and a plan for the day.
My husband’s birthday was July 20th. Now that he is retired I am lucky if I even know what day of the week it is. I used to be the expert at remembering any and all birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions.
On the morning of his birthday he received a text, came out to me and showed me a picture of a man with a birthday message below. He said it was from his sister-in-law (the wife of his brother Harold). I commented that Harold had just celebrated his birthday. He gave me a look that said “what planet are you on, it’s my birthday”! I totally thought that the next day was the 20th and was more confused than ever! In my defense, I had just got up, wasn’t wearing my glasses and he and his brother look very similar.
Could be MS or my age but thank goodness for calendars, notepads and Facebook reminders or I may lose my mind completely!
